TOOL MAKER'S MICROSCOPE WITH MICROMETER FOR MEASURING CABLE INSULATION THICKNESS
Sipcon Tool Maker's Microscope with Micrometer are best suited for measuring cable insulation thickness of all types of cables including PVC and XLPE ranging from 0.1mm to 50mm cable diameter. The measurements are done as per the guidelines laid down in IEC 60811-1-1 standard. The workstage can easily accommodate large samples as big as 50 mm in diameter. The standard accuracy is 5 microns which helps users precisely measure the insulation thickness so as to save on insulation material costs. The minimum resolution of 0.5/1 microns provides accurate readings with a magnification ranging from 30x-100x as specified in the IEC 60811-1-1 standard.
Multilayer Coated Optical System
The multi-layer coated optical system with high eye-point wide field eyepieces allows user to view from a distance into the eyepiece for convenient and strain free viewing.
Friction Less Movement
The workstage has integrated ball bearing guides for frictionless movement and has a 50mm travel for measuring bigger components.
Wide Field Eyepiece
The microscope is offered with special high eye point wide field eyepieces so the user can keep his eyes at a distance from the eyepiece for convenient viewing and without any strain.
Zero Adjustment Micrometer Head
The work stage has the Zero Adjustment Micrometer Head which eliminates calculation error while taking measurements as with zero adjustment micrometer head the operator can adjust zero at his first initial reading.
CENTERED GRATICULE
The graticule is mounted in a metal cap with guides to fit into the microscope which makes it easy to change. Moreover the guide pin makes the graticule to be automatically centered.
Crisp & Sharp Image
An extra halogen illumination system, which can be used along with the tool lamps already supplied enables the projection attachment to obtain crisp and sharp image even for opaque objects (surface illumination).
Calibration Certificate
The Microscope is calibrated for X-Y measurement, angle measurement, magnification and necessary calibration certificate is provided.
